tms appoints George Vollmer as VP of Global Product & Creative for GMS

tms is pleased to announce we have appointed Val George Vollmer as the new Vice President of Global Product & Creative for Global Merchandise Services (GMS), our product and merchandising division.
In his new position, George will spearhead the product design and development process from concept to execution, overseeing a talented team of 50+ professionals. This work will drive innovation across tms’ diverse portfolio, including some of the largest brands in specialty coffee, entertainment, and convenience.
George brings extensive experience in creative leadership to his new role, joining tms from Sam’s Club, where he served as the Head of Brand Experience for Member’s Mark.
George’s mission is to foster a culture of growth, creativity, and innovation, sparking new product ideas that resonate with brand fans. He will also serve as a key strategic partner across tms’ client portfolio, driving cross-functional collaboration and alignment. George will report directly to Alice Chi Martin, tms’ President of GMS.
George’s appointment is an exciting next step for tms. His proven track record in product development, branding, and design innovation makes him the perfect leader to drive our creative vision forward. George’s expertise will not only inspire our internal teams but will also accelerate growth for the brands we serve, further reinforcing our commitment to creating exceptional brand-building products for our clients.
