Pamela Stathaki, our Head of Global Sustainability, has been invited to speak at the Sustainability in Licensing Conference (SiLC) on the 18th October 2022 at the Royal Geographical Society. The event is owned and organised by ProductsofChange.com.

Continuing its mission to drive positive change across the licensing industry, the SiLC promises a jam-packed agenda of inspirational leaders and innovators, informative panel sessions and discussions, and ground-breaking new developments and updates from across the licensing and consumer industry landscape.

Pamela will take to the stage at 3 pm GMT to discuss ‘The Rising Challenge of Sustainability Messaging.’ Here she will unpack what the Green Claims Code is, the legislation introduced to support this, and how to avoid greenwashing.

Pamela will also be joining a panel of experts from Sky Kids, The LEGO Group, and Mattel at 5:10 pm GMT to discuss ‘The Future of Kids.’ Hosted by Kids Industries founder Gary Pope, the panel will take audience questions regarding the future of the children’s industry and how we as a community can be a driving force behind positive change.

Helena Mansell-Stopher, founder of Products of Change and conference director for SiLC 22, said, “SiLC 22 will be a place for sharing ideas, insight, and innovation on how best this endlessly creative industry can continue to drive positive global action towards a more sustainable future. By implementing changes today, we can drive forwards a better, healthier, and more environmentally focused industry of tomorrow.”

In partnership with Ecologi, SiLC will be offsetting all carbon from the event. Gold Standard are a governing body of NGO’s who ensure projects that reduce carbon emissions feature the highest levels of environmental integrity.
