Celebrating Pride Month across our Seattle, London, and Chicago offices

We celebrated Pride Month with a series of events across the globe in Chicago, London, and Seattle! Pride Month commemorates the 1969 Stonewall Uprising in Manhattan, where brave LGBTQ+ citizens protested for their rights, and observes the celebration of LGBTQ+ pride by honoring activism and uplifting queer culture.

Rainbow, tms’ Employee Resource Group (ERG) that advocates, celebrates, and represents our LGBTQ+ employees and the wider LGBTQ+ community, sponsored an event in our Chicago headquarters on June 27, gathering to play BINGO hosted by local drag Queen Kimberly Summers. The party was filled with colorful treats, from rainbow croissants and cupcakes to party favors like Pride bracelets for guests to enjoy. We also took time at the beginning of the celebration to learn about the Center on Halsted, an organization that provides a comprehensive community space for members of the LGBTQ+ community, working to advance community, health, and wellness.

The tms London team celebrated by blending fun with education. The celebrations centered on honoring queer entertainers and allies and provided a space for colleagues to learn more about Pride and each other with colorful cocktails and treats in hand, sourced from queer-owned businesses.

tms is super inclusive, you feel that every day in our work culture, but for Pride 2024, it was our goal to celebrate by blending what everyone knows and loves about Pride with more meaningful moments and interactions. We also wanted to give something back to the community by including queer-owned businesses and donating to a queer charity.

Our Seattle office partnered with Stanley, a HAVI-owned business, for an event presented by the Seattle-based ERG P.R.I.D.E. The event was a “Dungeons and Drag Queens Fantasy Skate Extravaganza” at the Southgate Roller Rink, which included a fantasy-themed costume competition!

Thank you to all our ERG members and employees who take the time to honor Pride Month and provide a safe space for all to celebrate! Learn about other events our ERGs have recently organized to support our colleagues, such as the events we held for Juneteenth.
